Adele Cancels North America Tour

Adele has been forced to cancel the rest of her North American tour because of laryngitis.

The songstress had already postponed five shows on her sold-out tour after being diagnosed with the illness last week.

Even though Adele says she is "really frustrated" about having to cancel she said that she won't be continuing the tour:

"I'm really frustrated, however there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor's advice and rest some more. I was hoping with a week's rest I'd be better to sing again straight away."

The singer's tour had been set to continue in San Francisco yesterday, but a specialist "determined it was imperative that she take the next few weeks to recover with absolute voice rest." a statement on Adele's website said.

The 23-year-old's single 'Rolling In The Deep' is currently number one in the US.

Adele Covers Rolling Stone

Following in the footsteps of singer Rihanna, songstress Adele is covering the newest issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

In the mag the 'Someone Like You' singer talks about her image and how staying healthy is important but she doesn't have time to think about her body:

"My life is full of drama and I won't have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like…I don't like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even If I had a really good figure, I don't think I'd get my tits and ass out for no one."

The singer also talks about her album '21' saying that one man inspired the whole album:

"He was artistic, but not romantic. We'd just bicker over a cup of tea or the fact that my lighter wasn't working…He made me an adult and put me on the road that I'm traveling on."

She's really come so far as an artist!

Adele Admits She Had Trouble In School

Adele has admitted that she went through hard times in school as teachers made her believe success wasn't possible.

The Grammy Award winning singer said she constantly felt intimidated:

"I had to bear the brunt of negative attitudes from authority figures, such as teachers, who led me to believe that success was unrealistic. So I chose to survive rather than live in a fantasy world. I'm not, and never have been, very academic - it was always music for me."

But the singer who just released her new Album '21' and is about to release it in the US, said that she knew from a young age that being a singer was her dream:

"I remember when I was 10, I nicked my mum's Lauryn Hill album and listened to it every day after school in my bedroom, sitting on my little sofa bed and hoping to God that one day I'd be a singer."
