And now the Wide Awake singer has been spotted out on a date with the singer. But no one wanted to believe it because John has a very bad reputation in Hollywood.
Not only did he mess around Jennifer Aniston, but he also dated Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Taylor Swift. None of them had anything particularly nice to say about him.
So what is Katy doing??? We think she just likes the bad boys. Plus days before she met Russell Katy was apparently texting John.
