Taylor Swift Says She Wants To Be "Surprised" By Love

Taylor Swift has revealed that she is still searching for 'the one' but isn't actively looking for him.

The singer who hit headlines this year when she briefly dated Hollywood hunk Jake Gyllenhaal, has said that she's not sure what type of man she wants to settle down with but she wants to be surprised:

"There are no rules when it comes to love. I just try to let love surprise me because you never know who you're going to fall in love with."

The 21-year-old also insisted that the man of her dreams doesn't even have to be in showbusiness

"You never who who's going to come into your life, and for me, when I picture the person I want to end up with, I don't think about what their career is, or what they look like. I picture the feeling I get when I'm with them."

As well as hooking up with Jake, Taylor has also enjoyed relationships with Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner, singer Joe Jonas and musician/asshole John Mayer.

Yes, I am extremely jealous.

Taylor Swift has purchased, which looks to be, a little girls' dream house! The 21-year-old just bought a1.5 acre property in Beverly Hills for approximately $3.55 million!!!

The quaint property has a country feel with doll house features. With a massive garden the country star is completely secluded from the world, but is only a few minutes away from Hollywood where she is based a lot of the time.

You can tell that the singer from Tenesse has kept her first ever house looking quite similiar to her country home. Although the size is huge and situated right in the heart of L.A. It looks like Taylor wanted to keep her home looking humble and comfortable.

It's obvious that the singer could spend her evenings writing songs outside in her new large garden, that is quite similiar to a fairy tale landscape. Taylor has always been obsessed with castles, but for now, this is as close as she is going to get to a realy fairy tale home.

Jake Gyllenhaal Attended Same Party As Ex's Reese Witherspoon and Taylor Swift!

Awkward moment alert!

Celebs are bound to bump into their ex's at huge Hollywood events every year, but the exact same party? Wow that must have been seriously uncomfortable!

Last night's Vanity Fair after-party at Sunset Tower in Hollywood hosted tonnes of A-List celebs such as: Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Scarlett Johansson, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried, Gerard Butler, Sandra Bullock etc etc! But most importantly 21-year-old Taylor Swift attended the party along with ex Jake Gyllenhaal and his ex Reese Witherspoon!
So who was with who? Well hunky Jake brought an unidentified date with curly brown hair (probably just a friends since he's dating Carey Mulligan) then Reese was with her agent fiance Jim Toth. Taylor then? Well seemingly she was alone, even though she's been snapped getting cozy with Glee star Chord Overstreet.

Just to remind you, Jake and Reese split after nearly two years together back in 2009, apparently he had bought a ring and was ready to settle down but she said no. Then he broke it off with country singer Taylor over the phone right before New Year's Eve!

I'm guessing since Amanda Seyfried was partying there that her new boyfriend Ryan Philippe was there, who is Reese's ex-hubby. Wow.. Hollywood is too damn small!

Taylor Swift Spotted Getting Cozy With Glee Star!

 

Yes, it looks like Taylor Swift has finally moved on!

I reported recently that Jake Gyllenhaal had been spotted on some very romantic dates with Carey Mulligan and now it looks like his country singer ex has got back on the saddle to, this time, with someone her OWN age!

21-year-old Taylor was spotted with none other than Glee actor Chord Overstreet (I'm not joking, that's actually his name). The pair were seen at a Hockey match on Thursday and they looked very cozy indeed!  An onlooker said: "They looked pretty good together."

Sources say that Taylor called the actor ,who plays Sam on Glee, to talk about writing a song together (good line thier Taylor), the next day they went to the game and had dinner later!

So why will this work out and her relationship with Jake didn't? Well first Chord is 22, only one year older, secondly he's a singer-songwriter too, and thirdly he's also from Nashville!!

And believe it or not, this isn't the first Glee hunk to date Taylor, last year she went out with Cory Monteith, who plays Finn on the hit TV show.

Serial dater much? She seems really needy! Be single for 10 minutes Taylor!!

Jake Gyllenhaal Stood Up By.... Taylor Swift?

Waited for 45 minutes

E! have reported that Love And Other Drugs hunk Jake Gyllenhaal was stood up the other night!!

My favourite sexy actor was spotted Santa Monica's fancy Giorgio Baldi restaurant for a nighttime rendezvous and was left waiting! According to sources, Jake was seated at a table inside the eatery but didn't immediately order any items off the menu.

As time passed, servers kept asking the all-alone-actor if he wanted any food or drink, but he said now!The 30-year-old Hollywood sex-bomb (yes, I'm slightly in love with him) waited an entire 45 minutes before finally deciding to hit the road without ever meeting up with his mystery date!

So who was it? Who could do such a thing? I'm thinking Miss Taylor Swift wanted some revenge on her ex who dumped her over the phone! There is NO way anyone else would stand him up! I would have hated to see his big brown puppy dog eyes all sad!

Funnily enough while Jake was waiting on his date Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson were waiting for his table! True story :)

Jake Gyllenhaal Apologises To Taylor Swift

Girls all over the world had their heart broken again when Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted having dinner with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, but according to sources he was just there to say sorry!

It's become widespread news that Jake dumped the country singer over the phone and apparently he went to her home-town of Nashville just to do the deed in person!

Sources at the restaraunt had said the pair didn't act like a couple at all:

"They did eat. They were cordial to one another, but not affectionate. There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together," the source says. They sat next to the fireplace just chatting away."

So can we go to sleep tonight knowing Jake is back to single life safe and sound?? We'll have to wait and see!

Damn it! I knew it was too good to be true!

Even though Jake Gyllenhaal ended things with singer Taylor Swift right before Christmas, the pair have been spotted twice now in Taylor's home town Nashville.

At first diners at a restaurant said they saw the former couple sitting in a private area at the back and that they looked more like friends than lovers but now they've been spotted again...grrr!

As you can see 21-year-old Taylor and 30-year-old Jake do seem very distant from each other, but there must be some reason they're sneaking around!

Jake apparently ended things because the publicity surrounding their relationship was too much to handle, but has he changed his mind? I really hope not :(

There's been an update to the 'Gyllenswift' split! It turns out that Love And Other Drugs actor Jake called it quits this time as he was feeling too much pressure from all the media attention the couple were getting!

They had already been involved in a serious car chase with paps back in November and it seems it was all a bit too much for Jake. Sources have said that Jake needed to end things:

"Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he’s not acting as interested. He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got. He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn’t listen."

The source added that even though he likes Taylor, the actor needed some privacy:

“Jake cares about her, but [the publicity] was a lot for him. He wants to keep his private life private, and that’s hard to do dating Taylor.”

Yes!! It seems like Jake Gyllenhaal has finally come to his senses!

According to reports tonight, Jake and Taylor Swift have put an end to their two month relationship. A source told People magazine that it ended before the Christmas holidays:

"They're over, It ended last month."

The couple were last seen together in public on December 9, spending the day out and about in Los Angeles shopping for groceries and eating dinner out.

During their world-whind romance 30-year-old Jake splashed out on a  $11,000 vintage Gretsch guitar signed by country star Chet Atkins as a gift for Taylor's 21st birthday. ( we thought that was a good sign) On top of that they both met each other's families; with Jake introducing Taylor to his movie star sister Maggie when they had thanksgiving together, and Jake flew to Nashville to meet her parents.

But apparently things had fizzled out (more like Jake came to his senses). The pair spent the holidays apart as Taylor spent Christmas and New Years Eve Nashville, also attending numerous parties. Meanwhile Jake was in New York and was seen at a party with a host of celebs.

What a great start to 2011, I never understood what he saw in her, I guess he realizes he made a mistake. Can't wait to see what song she writes about him next! (CRINGE)

So Jake is now added to the list of her celeb ex's, which also includes Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and Joe Jonas.
