Lily Allen Says She Could Have Died From Drugs Like Amy Winehouse

Singer turned fashion designer Lily Allen Cooper has admitted that she could have died from drugs like pal Amy Winehouse.

At the beginning of her career Lily often spoke about using drugs and her crazy party lifestyle but now that she is married to Sam Cooper and expecting her first child, the singer admitted she's worlds away from who she used to be.

As a pregnant, married woman living in the Gloucestershire countryside, the singer is now a world away from her old life.

Lily says she and hubby Sam decided to leave the bright lights of London for the countryside, because living in the city reminded her of taking drugs.

"I felt very trapped by the presence of 40 paparazzi guys hysterical outside her front door. I could totally see why Amy didn't want to leave her house. It seemed more appealing to stay in and take heroin. I've had nights out with Amy and I know exactly what used to go on. I also spent time with her at her house in Camden. Not the one she died in, the one before."

Lily added that friends and family texted her after her death, saying they were grateful that she had turned her life around.

"Actually, when Amy died, I got several texts from friends saying they were really glad I was still here. That I hadn't died too. It's so easy to get caught up in that madness and I count my lucky stars I've been strong enough to walk away."

Lily, who is currently 7 months pregnant also admitted she knows the sex of the baby but isn't telling anyone. The singer says she's being very closely montired after suffering a miscarriage and a stillbirth already.

"After my last baby, I'm being really closely monitored so I come to London every Thursday for a scan. The doctor keeps telling me to take it easy."

Lily Allen Is Married And... PREGNANT!

I'm so happy to hear that Lily Allen is pregnant again!

On possible the happiest day of her life she has announced she is expecting a child. The singer today married her builder boyfriend Sam Cooper, and after losing their first child together a few months ago, the blushing bride and handsome hubby announced they are with child.

After two miscarriages in the last two years, Lily realy deserves to have the baby that she has always wanted. She revealed last year that all she wanted to be was a "mother".

It's clear that she has really de-stressed her life over the last few months, staying away from the press and not getting involved in the media as much.

Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs. Cooper.

Lily Allen Says Her Second Miscarriage Changed Everything

Lily Allen has said that losing a baby for a second time has changed her entire outlook on life. The singer (and now designer) sadly contracted septicaemia after loosing her baby son. After the loss her boyfriend Sam Cooper proposed to her and Lily said it made her realize what was good in her life:

"I got really ill after he died and I was admitted into hospital. I couldn't have cared less if I was on my death bed. It was amazing how my friends reacted so much more to me being ill than to actually what I felt was the devastating part Even though what's happened to me has been beyond devastating, it's made me realise what I really have. I probably feel more compassionate towards things than I have previously. I spent a long time in a hospital bed and my outlook has changed. Everything has changed. I can't believe how much of my life I spent complaining about things."

This week Lily's wedding invitation was leaked to the press, she and Sam are set to marry June 11th.

Lily Allen Says "Madonna Is Mental"

I can see now why Lily Allen doesn't want that documentary to be watched!

I just REPORTED that the singer doesn't want anyone to see her new documentary "From Riches To Rags" as she feels it shows her in a bad light, and here's why!

Some quotes from the upcoming show have been released and she's slagging off celebs, but most especially Madonna. This is what Lily had to say about fame:

"People who are famous and successful and live in this mad world tend to die really early, or kill themselves, or die in a drugs overdose. I'd rather not so I figure I will go and eat. My idea of hell would be doing this in 25 years' time. I don't want to be like Madonna - look at her, she's mental."

Lily adds that she would rather live a 'normal' life then continue to live for the music industry:

"No offence but that is not what drives me. I want to get married and have kids and make sandwiches cutting the crusts off."

Although Lily is right in saying there are more important things in life than being famous, I'm guessing this won't go down too well with the Queen of Pop!

Lily's documentary airs on Channel 4 March 15 at 10pm.

Lily Allen Urges Fans Not To Watch Documentary About Her!

Lily Allen has aske fans not to watch a new documentary about her life called 'From Riches to Rags'

The Channel 4 series will air next week and the singer has claimed that the show has "sensationalised" her quotes and completely exaggerates her history of eating disorders.

Lilly Tweeted her fans saying:

"Just a couple of things, some of you may have read about a T.V show called Riches to Rags (title not my idea) airing on Tuesday next week. We started filming it a year ago and I feel like a completely different person than the one that features in the programme.  I'm inclined to ask you not to watch it cause quite frankly I am embarrassed. On the other hand I want you all to watch it so you can see how the press coverage of it has been totally sensationalised and quotes taken out of context. I should probably know better than to write this [on Twitter]... but I feel it's the only place that my words don't get minced. That is all."

The documentary was  set out to show the 25-year-old and her half-sister Sarah's bid to open a vintage clothing store in London. As it was filmed between March and October last year. Lily also discusses previous eating disorders and her second miscarriage she suffered from a few months ago.

She also told fans she will not be watching the show, Tweeting:

"I shan't be watching. It was meant to be a show about sisters starting a business.I think I may have been a little naïve."

If anything, she's made me want to watch it even more now! How about you?

Blake Lively - The New Face Of Chanel

It's a job that every girl in Hollywood would die for! And Blake Lively's the next one to get it!

It's being reported todat that Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was handpicked by Chanel's creative director Karl Lagerfeld to front Chanel's new handbag campaign, following in the footsteps of Lily Allen, Diane Kruger and Nicole Kidman. (lucky girl).

The 23-year-old actress is set to appear in a new advertising campaign for the mega-brand's highly sought-after Mademoiselle handbag line. Apparently Lagerfeld did the photo-shoot with Blake himself on the iconic staircase in Coco Chanel's Rue de Cambon studio in Paris.

"[The shoot] was an easy job because everyone fell in love with her,"
