Elton John Says Princess Dianna Would Like Kate Middleton

Sir Elton John has claimed that Princess Diana would be happy about the upcoming marriage of  her son Prince William to Kate Middleton.

The singer who is attending the royal wedding this Friday claimed that Dianna would be pleased with Will and Kate's relationship:
"I think it's the most joyous result and I'm sure Diana would be very, very happy about it... I think that she would be very happy with his choice. [Kate] seems such a great girl, and they seem so much in love."
Meanwhile Elton admitted that going back to Westminister Abbey will be hard since the last time he was there was for Dianna's funeral nearly 14 years ago. The singer admitted that the ceremony was extremely hard for everyone:
"The last time we were in Westminster Abbey, my heart sank when I saw those two young boys (Princes William and Harry) walking behind the coffin. I thought that was the hardest thing - I can't imagine at that young age having to walk in public, following your mother's coffin. And the next time we're in the Abbey, it's to see [William] walking up the aisle with a beautiful woman and the love of his life."

Elton and Diana were close friends

Although Elton seems happy about the upcoming wedding he added that the couple need to be cautious about all the media attention they are getting:
"Enjoy it while you can because the press are going to give you a bumpy ride. They are going to love you. They are going to hate you. I just hope they love each other enough to stay away from all that. There's one thing in the world if I could get rid of, it's that negativity of the British press - that hatefulness, that horrible nastiness that we have... Yeah [the wedding] is a fairytale thing and people criticise it and say we're making too much of it. But it's about love, and in this day and age anything that's about love and positivity is a welcome relief from what's going on in the world."

Simon Cowell Fights Back At Elton John!

You may remember that last season on the X-Factor, Elton John made many statements dissing the talent show and calling it "boring and a***-paralysingly brain crippling".

The shows creator, Simon Cowell, made Elton eat his words last season when he included an 'Elton John' themed week, where all the contestants had to murder sing an Elton hit! Well Simon isn't finished getting back at him yet. The music mogul who is about to release the show state side has said Elton needs to give young stars a chance:
"Well, look. This is somebody who charges what — a million dollars a private gig? Two million dollars, you know? I don't know whether he's concerned about himself…but…they always bleat on that we're not giving other people a chance. And I always want to say to them, 'I tell you what, you just made a million dollars off — off your last private gig. Go and give it to a bunch of young musicians you care about, put them in the studio. Go and nurture them. Go and spend some time looking after them.' Then I'll buy your argument. They — they're only worried about themselves."
Meow!!Will this get nasty like Ciara and Rihanna's Twitter fight? Ding Ding Ding... round two!

Elton John Says Being A New Daddy Is "Enchanting"

Loving fatherhood!

Elton John has said that he and partner David Furnish think being new fatheres is"enchanting".

Elton has said that the birth of his son Zachary was one of the best moments in his entire life. He said his life has changed:
"We can't really believe our luck. It's been the most enchanting thing that's ever happened to us."

The singer who just announced a duet with Glee star Matthew Morrison said that he uses his talents to clam down his new baby boy:
"I don't really sing any of my songs to him… maybe 'Blessed', I sing that song. Actually, I [also] sing a song called 'The Greatest Discovery', which is from 1970… I’ve been singing that recently. It's about the birth of a new baby and I was singing it before he arrived and I was getting very emotional as I sang it. And I thought, 'People don't know what's going on and I'm singing this song'."

He seems to be smitten with his new role as a father, and so he should be!
