Fair play to Christian Bale. The actor, who played the one and only Batman in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy is currently visiting victims of last Friday night's shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
The English actor surprised staff when he showed up tonight to give support to the victims injured from the mass shooting. According to reports he has been spending time talking to patients and their families.
With 58 seriously injured and 12 dead, the shooting was a huge tragedy for the families of the victims as well for the stars of the movie, who all released statements saying they were heart broken.

Christian himself said this week: “Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.”

And Anne Hathaway, who played Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises echoed their sentiments, saying “My heart aches and breaks for the lives taken and altered by this unfathomably senseless act.”
