Star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Taylor Armstrong says her late husband Russell Armstrong tried to drown her in a swimming pool.
Taylor (41) makes the shocking new claims in her memoir Hiding From Reality and today it has emerged the couple had a massive blow out following an argument.
According to reports Russell and Taylor were with two friends when he went furious. Taylor told her friends to look after their daughter as her husband became angry. Friends say Taylor said: "Just take care of Kennedy if anything happens."
Sources have said Russell then attacked Taylor, their friend Jennifur and her husband Mark.
"Russell was in a frenzy, and he had a wild look in his eyes. He hit Mark, and threw Jennifur, her dog and Taylor in the swimming pool and tried to drown Taylor. Taylor thought she was going to die as Russell held her under the water."
Apparently Jennifur and Mark saved Taylor by pulling Russell off her and although a police report was filed no charges were pressed as Taylor begged her friends not to.
Reports also state that Taylor's friend Mark required 16 stitches and work done on his teeth after the fight and Russell agreed to pay the medical bills which totalled around $12,000.
Russell committed suicide last August.
