In an interview with Elle magazine, Josh says that he was attracted to the Black Eyed Peas singer's positive attitude and her ability to make him a better person. (awwwwh)
He said:
"I knew early on that [Fergie] was right for me..She's got an incredible strength and optimism. I knew that I was going to be a better man with her.''
The Transformers star came under fire last year after allegations of cheating with a stripper came to light, bu Fergie stood by him all the way.
He also says in the interview that from other relationships he was wary of jealous partners, but Fergie changed his perception of alot of things:
"It was really important to me to have somebody who wanted success for me, who wanted the best for me, who pushed me and inspired me to be better...Not somebody who, for whatever reason, whether resentment or jealousy or whatever, will hold you back.''
It sounds like he geniunely loves and adores her. Lucky girl!
