Cheryl didn't sign divorce papers!

It's being reported today that singer Cheryl Cole has missed the deadline for a divorce from England footballer Ashley Cole because of her recent battle with malaria.

Apparently it could now take months to formally end her marriage to the footballer. And it's believed Cheryl isn't cuddling up to new boyfriend Derek Hough in public because she's afraid it will upset Ashley! (why do you care?)

A source said:
"Cheryl is very conscious of Ashley and really doesn’t want to antagonise him. She and Ashley have had contact recently and things are cordial between them. In her eyes it would be disrespectful to behave like that so soon."When the divorce is through - or at least when things have progressed more - fine. But in the meantime she’s dead against it. In spite of what’s gone on between them, she believes she has to do things by the book.

Meanwhile The 'Parachute' singer is spending time with Hough in LA at the moment. And it's been rumored that the pair are about to get joint tattoo's in honour of their new love.
Apparently the newly loved up couple have drawn up sketches of lovebirds and they were spotted in the Shamrock Social Club, a tattoo parlour on Sunset Boulevard in LA, earlier this week.

Let's hope the papers are signed and she can finally move on!!
