Johnny Depp Says Penelope Cruz Is A Great Mommy!

Johnny Depp has said that Pirates Of The Caribeann: On Stranger Tides co-star is a great mother.

Penelope recently gave birth to her first baby with hubby Javier Bardem. Johnny said he thinks she's a great mom:

"She's an inconceivably phenomenal mommy, which I've witnessed firsthand and it's pretty incredible. She's as loyal and true a friend as anyone could ever dream of and I'm very privileged to be able to have her in my life."

The hunky actor made the comments on Friday after Penelope became the first Spanish-born actress to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!! He added that she is one of his best friends.

They also co-starred in the 2001 film Blow.

Johnny Depp has said that he really doesn't see himself as a sex symbol and doesn't get the public's fascination with him. The Pirates Of The Caribbean said it doesn't make sense to him:

"It's a complete mystery for me. The attention is strange.I wake up and have to look at that head when I brush my teeth and it is often unpleasant."

What a strange thing to say! Well we still love you Johnny! Thankfully he'll be back on our screens soon as the sexy pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in this summer's Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, due out in cinemas on May 20. (can't wait)

Johnny Depp And Eva Green Starring In New Tim Burton Movie!

Tim Burton and Johnny Depp re-unite!

Tim Burton is back to his usual film making magic this year and surprise surprise Johnny Depp has grabbed the lead role!

The new flick is an adaptation of the 1960's TV series Dark Shadows. The series was seriously popular in the day and was known as a is a gothic soap opera, with characters such as werewolves, ghosts, zombies and vampires! The most famous character being vampire Barnabas Collins, played by Mr. Depp of course!

Now, in more casting news, it's been revealed that Bond girl Eva Green will play the character of Angelique, a "powerful witch who was alternately tormented and bewitched by her love-hate relationship with Barnabas Collins."

There are still more roles left though! And according to reports A Nightmare On Elm Street's Freddy Krueger Jackie Earle Haley is in negotiations for a major role in the film, along with an Australian up-and-coming actress Bella Heathcoate.

Tim always has an amazing cast, this sounds like an epic!

Johnny Depp's Wife Says She Doesn't Like Fame!

The wife of Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis has said she finds fame hard to deal with.

The French singer, who has children Lily-Rose, 11, and Jack, 8, with partner Johnny admitted that although fame has helped her many times, she wants her life to remain private:

"I have contradictory feelings about it. It brings me lots of privileges - it helps me to find a doctor in an emergency, or a table in a restaurant. But it also steals my private life, and it's difficult when it affects my family. My children shouldn't be touched by it."
