Edward Grimes Says He Kissed Eurovision Singer Lena

Jedward star Edward Grimes has claimed that he snogged 2010 Eurovision winner Lena!!

The famous twin has told Star magazine that the German singer had "lipstick on" by the time she left their hotel room:

"Yeah, she came to our hotel to hang out with us. I'm actually looking for a nice piece of jewellery or a cool watch to give to her...She had lipstick on and by the end of the evening I had her lipstick on my lips, and John didn't have any! There've been rumours on the internet but now I'm telling Star what officially happened."

John and Edward did show a huge interest in the 'Taken By A Stranger' singer, and it looks like they can finally squash those gay rumours, well Edward can anway:

"I'm definitely keeping in touch with her. I might have to start learning German. She's pretty and has a cool essence about her. She comes across [as] shy but she's crazy."

However, he added that a girlfriend would never come between the him and John, saying: "That'll never happen!"

Lee Ryan Says He Could Have Died From Drug Use

Blue band memeber Lee Ryan has admitted that he nearly died as a result of drug use.

The singer, who is preparing to compete at next weekend's Eurovision Song Contest admitted that he had turned to drugs to cope with fame.

Lee admitted that he fell under the pressure to be a constant performer:

"Sometimes it gets really hard but I do need the worry and the angst to be creative. I've got that back, which I lost for a time during Blue. I used to go out and get tw*tted on s**t I shouldn't have. I was a naughty boy and one day I woke up and realised if I carried on, I was going to die - so I moved to America."

Now that Lee has focused his attention back to music he admitted that he loves the industry:

"I realised I missed what I was in the industry for. I became comfortably numb and it's nice to be back. It feels incredibly special to be with the boys again and doing what we do best."

Jedward Are The Top Followed Irish Stars On Twitter!

Twins John and Edward Grimes have officially become the best of the Irish on the social networking site Twitter. The pair broke the news last night saying:

"200,000 followers: 100,000 followers for John and 100,000 followers for Edward! Go Team Jedward."

The pair who are headed to the semi-finals of the Eurovision next week have tweeted 11,400 times so far since joining the social networking site just 18 months ago.

Boyzone member Ronan Keating is the second most popular Irish star on Twitter, with 121,000 followers, despite only tweeting 615, but some of his followers include the Australian public as he features as a judge on their version of the X Factor.

Finally former Westlife star Brian McFadden nabbed the third spot on the list of the most followed Irish stars with 100,000 followers. Brian Tweeted fans yesterday showing his gratitude:

"100,000 followers. Woo hoo."

Jedward were also named the highest earning X Factor stars over a 12 month period. Cashing in €3 million in just one year alone!

Corrie Star Michelle Keegan Wants Jedward To Win Eurovision!

Michelle Keegan has said she's backing Jedward all the way at the Eurovision 2011!

The actress, who plays Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street,admitted she loved their song 'Lipstick' and really wants them to win:

"I think it's brilliant. I was watching them and I just love the song, it's so catchy. I've got a couple of nephews and they're all obsessed with them. I'm quite a fan myself. I've met them a couple of times now - in Dublin last year and at some other award shows and things like that."

She also added that she really get's on with the twins themselves, saying:

"They're always very nice and friendly. They're great fun and they're exactly what Ireland needs in the Eurovision. I'll be voting for them and I'm sure most of the people in the UK will. They've got a massive following after The X Factor. Who knows? Maybe they'll win it."

Jedward Win Eurosong!

Yes, the votes have been cast, and those accentric twins from Dublin are set to represent the country in front of millions of viewers across Europe!

Last night, Ryan Tubirty hosted the Late Late Show Eurosong special and five acts performed for the top spot. Jedward came second when it came to the panel votes around Ireland but won the competition once the votes from the public were added.

Nikki Kavanagh who sang 'Falling' did an amazing job and came a close second! I definitely think she should produce an album because she has a great voice and a good stage presence.

So here it is guys, the winning song for Ireland:

Blue To Represent Britain In The Eurovision!

We're back!

I seriously can't believe that this is true.

Former English boyband Blue have been chosen to represent Britain in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place in Dusseldorf on May 14.

Former bandmates Duncan James, Simon Webbe, Anthony Costa and Lee Ryan have reunited! They are set to perform a self-penned song, entitled 'I Can' on the night.

The band previously split back in 2005 but announced they would be reforming, in 2009. Duncan James said on Twitter tonight that they're taking the Eurovision seriously:

"It's about time we took Eurovision seriously as we're the only country in Europe that doesn't. Let's try and change that, but we need your support!!"

What do you think of this choice? I really don't think they'll get far at all, they're not looking for middle-aged boybands on the contest...
