This month I have chosen Leanne Moore as my star!
Leanne was the final winner of the You're A Star competition back in 2008 and she's gone on to be more successful than any other rising singer in Ireland. Not only did she land top roles on the West End when the show was over, but she also got into the top five for the Eurosong competition 2010 to represent Ireland in the Eurovision.
Now co-hosting The Big Saturday Show on Dublin's Q102 and writing mostly showbiz for the Irish News Of The World, Leanne is becoming hugely successful.
