There's a lot of buzz today about Cheryl Cole's tell all interview with Piers Morgan.
The pre- recorded episode is to air on the 23rd of October on ITV 1, and some of the details have been leaked! The Daily Mail reports that the Girls Aloud member admits to Piers she will never stop loving her cheating ex-husband, Ashley Cole.
The 'Promise This' singer told Piers she still thinks about the footballer and believes he is "genuinely nice guy". And says she wants them to be friends:
"Once we get over this obstacle, I hope we can be friends again. A part of me will always love Ashley.Looking back on it, I feel numb. We had a great marriage and a fantastic wedding day but I don't know where it went wrong. To this day I still question that.".
During the interview with Morgan, Cheryl also opens up about her battle with malaria, admitting she thought she was going to die:
"I thought I was going to die, I actually thought I was going to die. I thought if I'm going to die I want to die soon because I was in so much pain."A source from the also confirmed this telling the press that Cole was in a serious condition while in intensive care and she was close to death:
"She was given 24 hours to survive and told if her condition did not improve she would die."Wow what an intense year Miss Cheryl Cole has had, a cheating hubby, a deathly disease all in the spotlight. I don't know how she's still standing.
One thing I have to say though is why the hell would she want to be friends with Ashley? (Barf)
